Mei Li (aka Merlot)

Chibi version of MeiLi (Merlot) for =onnaevilsmith's contest.

MeiLi was just a simple peasant girl in Northern China during the Jin Dynasty. She was of some modest beauty, and was to be given to the benevolent village guardian (Tai) when she reached the age of maturity.

Alas, when the village guardian had taken a brief trip away, an army of humans and vampires from the north invaded. Long story short, MeiLi was turned, and Tai eventually saved her, and they lived happily ever after with two sons and MeiLi's army of Chinese warrior women.

Well... not quite. MeiLi still managed to get her eyes ripped out by one of Hadrian's lackeys, and her army was also decimated by the same evil vampire, but she adapted well.

Very interesting!
So, if she's a vampire, what are her 'eating' habits?
I mean, does she drain her victims dry, or something else?

Sometimes. More often then not, however, she tries to refrain from killing the humans she drinks from. There's also a pretty extensive "vampire black market" in our world and human blood is fairly easy to obtain. She doesn't like drinking from animals, but will if she has to. That's more or less her habits. ^^ Thank you for the question! :D I like talking about my characters when I get the chance.

People off on their own, mostly. People who either won't be missed or everyone will just think their tale of being attacked by a blind woman was crazy. Sometimes she also will kill those she finds dishonorable in their behavior (when she worked for the Tang dynasty she and her army often got the blood of criminals and political enemies).
