That's so the noise that lightning called down from the heavens by a mad scientist makes... This is a fan art of one of the best webcomics out there, "Girl Genius" by Studio Foglio. It depicts a chibi Gilgamesh Wulfenbach smiting Tarvek Sturmvoraus with his awesome lightning-death-ray-of-DOOM! The story of Girl Genius is pretty complicated, but basically Gil and Tarvek are both rivals for the affection of the heroine, Agatha Heterodyne, as well as rivals for control of most of Europe. Tarvek is the heir to the title of "The Storm King," But come on, Gil is just SO much cooler. Hence the picture.  Is going to be at Sakuracon next weekend selling her fabulous work (everyone who's there should so check her out). I hope she runs into the Foglio's there!  Girl Genius and the characters are all property of Studio Foglio. I just made a chibi fanart. :3 Comments
